Iowa overcame a double-digit deficit Saturday at Kinnick Stadium and downed No. 3 Penn State, 23-20. in a Big Ten battle of top five teams.
The fourth-ranked Hawkeyes trailed 17-3 in the second quarter and were down 20-16 in the fourth quarter when they struck for the winning touchdown.
Spencer Petras found Nico Ragaini with a 44-yard scoring pass to give Iowa the lead with 6:26 left.

Ta’Quan Roberson was picked off by Matt Hankins on a fourth-and-10 with about 2 minutes left, the fourth interception by Iowa on the day.
The Nittany Lions got the ball back after an Iowa punt but went nowhere and the celebration was on in Iowa.
The victory advanced the Hawkeyes to 6-0 and 3-0 in the Big Ten. Penn State fell to 5-1 and 2-1 in conference.
