The Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball team has hit its stride and it has everything working smoothly right now. The Hawkeyes went 2-0 in Big Ten play this week with a dominant 96-71 road win over the Purdue Boilermakers and a statement blowout of ranked Indiana.
The strong week has the Hawkeyes climbing in the AP Top 25 Women’s College Basketball Poll. At No. 3 last week, Iowa moved up to No. 2 in the rankings due to a combination of their strong week and a slip-up by UCLA.

Ahead of Iowa (17-1) is No. 1 South Carolina, which is undefeated at 15-0. Chasing the Hawkeyes are No. 3 Colorado and No. 4 North Carolina State.
The Hawkeyes are undefeated (6-0) and in first place in the Big Ten. Up next for Iowa is a home game against the Wisconsin Badgers on Tuesday, and a road trip to Columbus Ohio on Saturday to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes.
