One of the most exciting days of the calendar year for younger Iowa fans is the annual Kids’ Day at Kinnick. Iowa announced recently that its annual Kids’ Day at Kinnick is slated for Saturday, Aug. 10 with more details to come soon.
It gives the public its first glimpse of the Hawkeyes with an open practice. One of the highlights historically has been the Kids Captains joining Hawkeye players on the field for photos following an exclusive inside look at Kinnick Stadium.
All of the other younger fans will have opportunities to meet the players and get autographs following the open practice as well. It’s a great chance for kids to get to meet their favorite players and Hawkeye stars face-to-face before the 2024 season kicks off.
