Redshirt sophomore Iowa defensive lineman Caden Crawford announced on Monday that he is entering the NCAA transfer portal.
Crawford saw action in three games this season. The 6-foot-4, 261 pound defensive lineman recorded a pair of tackles in the Hawkeyes’ 40-0 season-opening shutout of Illinois State.
Crawford also played in Iowa’s wins over Minnesota and Washington, but he did not record stats in those two contests.
Crawford saw the first playing time of his career in Iowa’s 41-10 win over Western Michigan during the 2023 season. The Lansing, Kan., native redshirted during the 2022 season.
