Instant analysis of Ravens’ 24-17 preseason win over Cardinals

We look at an instant analysis of the Ravens’ 24-17 Week 2 preseason win over the Cardinals

The Baltimore Ravens extended their preseason winning streak to 22-straight games with a 24-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2 of the 2022 preseason. Baltimore had control for the majority of the game, but a few late touchdown drives by Arizona made the game competitive towards the end of the contest.

Both of Baltimore’s quarterbacks had great moments, with Tyler Huntley finishing the game completing 13-of-14 passes for 129 yards and one touchdown, while Anthony Brown completed 10-of-13 passes for 91 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.

Rookie tight end Isaiah Likely impressed again, catching all eight of his targets for 100 yards and one touchdown. He displayed a wide array of skills that have him in line to take on a massive role in the Ravens’ offense come Week 1 alongside All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews.

On defense, Baltimore had an army of players who stepped up. Defensive lineman Travis Jones and Isaiah Mack shined, inside linebackers Malik Harrison and Josh Ross turned in strong showings, while cornerbacks Kyle Fuller and Pepe Williams each had interceptions.

The 2022 preseason has showed that the Ravens have accumulated a massive amount of depth, which will make for some tough decisions come cut-down day. However, Week 2 against Arizona was a prime example of how impressive Baltimore’s 2022 draft was, as well as how the Ravens could replace the production of players that might have to miss time.
