Insider: Browns have no character concerns about Elijah Moore

The team doesn’t think character concerns will continue.

It is no secret that wide receiver Elijah Moore was not happy with his role and usage last year in New York. He requested a trade and reportedly had an outburst toward his offensive coordinator at the time regarding his lack of usage. Cleveland Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot however says that this incident doesn’t concern the team and that he doesn’t have true character issues.

“The Browns have no concerns whatsoever about Moore’s character and his run-in last season with offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur, in which he supposedly dropped an f-bomb on his coach after getting no targets against the Packers. The exchange was overblown, a source said, and not precisely how it was portrayed.”

Cabot would go on to talk about Moore being liked by his teammates and not that he is not a locker room concern. The Browns made this trade with an expanded role in mind and you wouldn’t think they would do that with serious concerns.
