Inside the box score of Penn State’s 24-0 win over Indiana in Week 5

Indiana Offense

Michael Penix Jr. – 10/22 118 yards and 1 interception

Penix struggled for much of this game tonight. The entire offense just couldn’t find their groove at all throughout the game.

Stephen Carr – 15 carries for 50 yards

As mentioned, Indiana isn’t much of a running offense. Penn State’s defense made several stops all game in Indiana couldn’t really do much on the ground. Whenever Indiana tried to run the ball, Penn State always found a way to stop them.

Peyton Hendershot – 5 receptions for 88 yards

Hendershot had a decent game tonight. But, whenever Indiana had big plays, most of the time it was stopped by the Nittany Lions secondary not much later.

Ty Fryfogle – 5 receptions for 48 yards

Fryfogle has had an up and down season thus far. We didn’t see a ton of action from him in tonight’s game. Indiana Defense Indiana’s defense struggled in every aspect of their game all night. Jahan Dotson made some of their players look silly at times and the Hoosiers run defense has had their moments, but Penn State’s running backs even had their moments of flashes throughout tonight’s game.
