The Nebraska Cornhuskers secured their first win of the season, as they defeated North Dakota 38-17.
However, that victory was a lot closer than the final score indicated. At halftime, the two teams were actually tied 7-7. Once again, Scott Frost and Nebraska’s coaching staff made some questionable decisions. Inexplicably, they attempted an onside kick with the lead in the third quarter. Special teams’ play, in general, was a complete mess.
Nevertheless, the Cornhuskers’ offense got into a rhythm in the second half, and they were able to cruise to victory.
