LSU offensive tackle [autotag]Emery Jones[/autotag] will not return to Saturday’s game against Auburn.
Jones was ruled out after suffering an ankle injury in the first quarter. He had to be helped off the field and ultimately entered the locker room on crutches. When the Tigers emerged from the locker room to begin the second half, Jones was spotted on the sideline wearing a walking boot and street clothes.
With Jones out, LSU has turned to true freshman [autotag]Lance Heard[/autotag], who has seen sporadic action this season so far but could be asked to play a much bigger role down the stretch, depending on the severity of Jones’ injury.
Per #LSU radio, Emery Jones is out for the rest of the game with an ankle injury.

We’ll have to wait until coach [autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] updates the media after the game to know the extent of Jones’ ankle injury.
