All-Pac-12 defender Elijah Parquet, who has missed Colorado’s two previous games due to a lower-leg injury, is back in uniform and available for the Buffs’ long-awaited game at Oregon.
Although he has started every game this season prior to his injury, Parquet will begin Tuesday night’s matchup on the bench. Nique Clifford will get his third consecutive start instead.
Assumedly, Tad Boyle is letting Parquet ease back into action. The senior guard was wearing a walking boot as recently as the USC game on Thursday, so his quick return is a pleasant surprise.
Parquet has averaged 7.1 points (a career-high) and 2.3 rebounds in 16 games this season.
