Following a rough blowout loss to the Sacramento Kings, the Golden State Warriors will get reinforcements for the backend of a back-to-back on Friday night. Following a one-game absence due to an illness, Draymond Green will return to the lineup.
Although Green will return for a tilt against Trae Young and the Hawks, the Warriors will still be without Steph Curry. The seven-time All-Star guard is slated to miss his fifth straight game with a tailbone contusion.
After giving up 141 points to the Kings, the Warriors will get a needed boost on the defensive side of the floor. Along with helping slow down Trae Young on defense, Green will give Steve Kerr’s rotation a proven playmaker with the basketball.
