Injury Report: Warriors’ Andre Iguodala (neck) out for Game 2 vs. Nuggets on Monday

The Warriors will be without veteran Andre Iguodala in game two against the Nuggets on Monday due to neck spasms.

After sealing a victory in game one of the Denver Nuggets, the Golden State Warriors will have to attempt to get a win in game two on Monday without a key veteran off the bench.

Before tipoff, the Warriors ruled out Andre Iguodala in game two due to neck spasms.

In 13 minutes off the bench in game one, the 17-year veteran went scoreless on a single 3-point attempt. Iguodala added four assists, two boards and a block against the Nuggets.

Without Iguodala, Steve Kerr could opt for different options off the bench, like steady veteran Damion Lee if he needs a ball-handler or high-flying rookie Jonathan Kuminga if the Warriors need a spark.

Kerr will also reportedly have Steph Curry off the bench for the second consecutive game. The two-time Most Valuable Player played 22 minutes off the bench in game one after making his return to the court from a 12-game injury absence.

Game two of the first-round series is set to tip-off at 7 p.m. on Monday at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
