Injury Report: Draymond Green (right ankle soreness) questionable vs. Magic on Friday

After being ruled a late scratch due to ankle soreness against the Heat, Draymond Green is listed as questionable against the Orlando Magic.

Prior to the start of the Golden State Warriors contest against the Miami Heat at Chase Center, Draymond Green was ruled as a late scratch due to soreness in his right ankle.

After missing Wednesday’s contest, the former Defensive Player of the Year is listed as questionable to start Golden State’s four-game road swing. On Friday, the Warriors are slated to take on the Orlando Magic.

Following Golden State’s comeback win against the Heat, Steve Kerr said he believed Green would play against the Magic on Friday.

With both James Wiseman and Kevon Looney ruled out for the contest, the Warriors will already boast a lineup that doesn’t feature a traditional center. If Green isn’t available, the Warriors will be forced to roll with a small lineup against Orlando’s Nikola Vucevic.

Prior to missing Wednesday’s tilt against the Heat, Green tallied over double-figures in six of his last seven contests. On Monday, Green matched his career-high with 16 assists against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Warriors open their road trip against Orlando at 4 p.m. PST on Friday.
