After three games, the Golden State Warriors suffered their first injury of the 2022-23 campaign. During the Warriors’ win over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night, Donte DiVincenzo endured a hamstring injury in the third quarter.
DiVincenzo has already been ruled out for Golden State’s contest on Tuesday against the Phoenix Suns. On Monday, Steve Kerr announced DiVincenzo would be re-evaluated in a week. The Warriors play the Suns, Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets and Detroit Pistons this week.

With DiVincenzo out, newly signed two-way player Ty Jerome will be activated for the Warriors.
DiVincenzo has played in all three of Golden State’s games during the start of the new season, averaging five points on 45.5% shooting from the field in 14 minutes per contest.
With DiVincenzo out and both rookies Patrick Baldwin Jr. and Ryan Rollins assigned to the G League, players like Moses Moody, Jonathan Kuminga and Jerome could receive a more significant opportunity in the second unit over the next week.
