The Jacksonville Jaguars lost one starter due to injury during the first drive in linebacker Leon Jacobs, and before they could reach the second half, they lost another starter in safety Andrew Wingard.
Jaguars S Andrew Wingard (core muscle) ruled out for rest of game…

The injury appears to have happened specifically on the last drive before the half. Second-year defensive back Brandon Watson was inserted in Wingard’s place. Wingard exited the game with three total tackles, all of which were solo tackles.
The Jags had to place starting safety Jarrod Wilson on injured reserve after their Week 1 win against the Indianapolis Colts with a hamstring injury, so Wingard’s injury leaves the Jags thin at the position. Additionally, Watson is a player who is seeing his first action at safety since entering the league.
The Jags currently are down 28-7 to the Dolphins with over 14 minutes remaining.
