The Philadelphia 76ers went into the playoffs shorthanded after losing All-Star Ben Simmons to a left knee subluxation during the seeding games. He then had to undergo surgery to repair a loose body in the knee.
The Sixers missed his presence on the defensive end as they could have used him against the Boston Celtics and their explosive wings, specifically Jayson Tatum, and they also missed his presence on offense as he is an elite finisher at the basket. The result was Philadelphia being swept out of Round 1 in a very disappointing way.
As the team continues their offseason, Simmons is back in the gym as he posted on his Instagram story a video of his workout. He even asks for more weight to put on the dumbells he was lifting. He also added that he didn’t need a vacation because he doesn’t deserve it.

Sixers fans would much rather see him playing on the floor rather than working out in the gym, but unfortunately, it did not work out that way. A healthy season in 2020-21 should do a lot of good for him and the Sixers. [lawrence-related id=37694,37689,37682]
