Indianapolis Colts WR Ashton Dulin out for rest of game vs Lions

The Indianapolis Colts have ruled out wide receiver Ashton Dulin for the remainder of the team’s Week 12 matchup vs. Detroit.

Indianapolis Colts’ wide receiver Ashton Dulin has been ruled out for the remainder of the game against the Detroit Lions with an ankle injury.

It is unclear when the injury occurred. His one target came on a downfield throw from Anthony Richardson. Dulin had the defender beat and came down with the catch but was unable to get both feet in bounds.

In most games, Dulin has been the Colts’ fourth wide receiver in terms of playing time.

On the year, he’s caught two of his eight targets for 67 yards, with a long of 54 yards that went for a touchdown in the Colts’ season-opener against Houston.

Dulin provides a steady blocking presence at the receiver position and the Colts do attempt to get him involved with some designed touches behind the line of scrimmage. Dulin has five carries for 45 yards this season.

Without Dulin, that means a large role is incoming for rookie AD Mitchell for the remainder of the game.
