Halfway through the season, the Colts are not among the favorites to win the Super Bowl, but they are a contender at +2500. They have the same odds as the rival Titans and the Los Angeles Rams. Only eight teams have shorter odds. Their odds have not changed much from before the season. At the start of training camp, the Colts had +2000 odds.

Indy ranks second in the league in total defense and fifth in points allowed. The Colts have intercepted a league-high 11 passes.

QB Philip Rivers has completed 69.7% of his passes this season for 1,860 yards, with 10 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Five different players have more than 200 receiving yards, while rookie RB Jonathan Taylor leads the team with 100 carries for 389 yards and three touchdowns.

  • Indianapolis Colts +205
  • Houston Texans +6600

The division title is a two-team battle between Indy and Tennessee. It will be decided in the second half of the season, as the two teams will face one another twice in November. The Colts will play five divisional games in their final nine games.

Colts futures picks and predictions

YES, Rivers’ experience makes the Colts a smart bet to win the AFC South. They have the defense and Rivers, if he can take care of the football better than he did in 2019, should be able to lead the Colts to a division title. Because they are clearly behind the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers in terms of complete talent, the Colts are NOT a good bet to win it all despite offering decent value at the mid-way point.
