Indianapolis Colts scout(s) in attendance at Iowa vs. Ohio State

The Indianapolis Colts reportedly had member(s) of the scouting department in attendance at the Iowa vs. Ohio State game on Saturday.

The Indianapolis Colts are one of a number of teams that have at least one scout in attendance at the Iowa vs. Ohio State matchup on Saturday.

According to Ryan Fowler of Bleacher Report, the Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants, Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions, and others have a member of the scouting department on hand for his game.

Throughout the college football season, this is a regular occurrence for the Colts and every NFL team as part of the scouting process. The Colts also had scouts reportedly in attendance at the Michigan State vs. Oregon game on Friday.

With help from Pro Football Focus’ early 2025 big board, here are some of the top draft-eligible prospects playing in this game that may have had the attention of the Colts’ personnel department:

WR Emeka Egbuka (Ohio State)
DE Jack Sawyer (Ohio State)
RB Quinshon Judkins (Ohio State)
OT Josh Simmons (Ohio State)
CB Denzel Burke (Ohio State)
S Sebastian Castro (Iowa)
DE JT Tuimoloau (Ohio State)
S Lathan Ransom (Ohio State)
RB TreVeyon Henderson (Ohio State)
IDL Tyleik Williams (Ohio State)
S Xavier Nwankpa (Iowa)
IOL Donovan Jackson (Ohio State)
RB Kaleb Johnson (Iowa)

Of course, with us being a number of months away from the 2025 NFL draft, trying to gauge who may be on the Colts radar or who will be in play for them in  April is a nearly impossible task. In the coming months, players will move up and down big boards and perceived positional needs for the Colts will change.

However, having said that, based on what we know now, some potential positions of need for Indianapolis could include cornerback, safety, tight end, running back, and defensive tackle depth.
