The Indianapolis Colts (1-1) and Cincinnati Bengals (0-2) meet Thursday for each team’s preseason finale. Kickoff from Paycor Stadium is set for 8 p.m. ET (Prime Video). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Colts vs. Bengals odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

Indianapolis beat the Arizona Cardinals 21-13 Saturday after losing 34-30 to the Denver Broncos in the preseason opener. The defense had a much better outing in Week 2, allowing only 13 1st downs and 232 total yards while forcing 2 turnovers.

Cincinnati was routed 27-3 by the Chicago Bears Saturday after losing 17-14 to the Tennessee Titans in the opener. The Bengals turned the ball over 3 times while failing to force any turnovers. The vast majority of Cincinnati’s starters have yet to suit up in the preseason, a trend that coach Zac Taylor says will continue in this matchup.

Colts at Bengals picks and predictions

Prediction

Colts 21, Bengals 10

Moneyline

PASS.

I like the Colts to win here, but a line that will cost you nearly 3 times your investment is never worth betting on. Bet on the spread and/or total instead.

Against the spread

BET COLTS -6.5 (-110).

With the Colts planning to play their starters at least into the 2nd quarter and the Bengals not playing their starters at all, it should be pretty easy for the Colts to cover here.

Indianapolis has a lot of good weapons and talented pieces on offense along with a pretty stout defensive unit, so expect the Bengals to struggle while the starters for Indy are in.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 34.5 (-110).

Indy’s defense has been pretty solid this preseason despite allowing 34 points in the opener as it has forced at least 2 turnovers in both games. Combine that with the fact Cincinnati has struggled to score this preseason and you have a perfect storm for the Under to hit.
