Colts at Bears: Odds, betting lines, picks and prediction

Prediction

Colts 23, Bears 17

Money line (?)

This is by no means a lopsided matchup. The money line shows that, with the Colts only being -134 as the favorites. The Bears will be starting QB Nick Foles for the first time after he led them to a comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons last week, likely making them more competitive against the Colts.

However, that was against a leaky Falcons secondary. This Colts defense will give Foles fits and cause him to regress compared to the way he played last week. Take the COLTS (-134) to win outright.

Against the spread (?)

COLTS -2 may seem like a surprise considering they’re on the road against a team with a better record. But the Colts are a more complete team with a better quarterback in Philip Rivers.

It’ll be their defense that carries them in this one, though, keeping the Bears offense in check for the most part. Bet the COLTS to cover the spread.

Over/Under (?)

The Over/Under of 42.5 is the lowest of any game on Sunday. That’s hardly surprising considering the talent level of the Colts defense, and the lack of consistency we’ve seen from the Bears offense.

Bet the UNDER as neither offense looks likely to light up the scoreboard. Expect a heavy dose of the running game and solid defense on both sides.
