Indianapolis Colts’ 2024 Practice Squad Tracker

Following roster cuts, keep track of the Indianapolis Colts’ 2024 practice squad additions right here.

Following roster cut-down day on Tuesday, the Indianapolis Colts and the rest of the NFL will begin assembling their practice squads on Wednesday.

All teams are able to carry 16 players on the practice squad. For the Colts, they could have 17 players on the practice squad if they decide to bring back safety Marcel Dabo as an International Pathway Player. Under that exemption, Dabo cannot be claimed by other teams, and he cannot be added to the 53-man roster or elevated on game days.

Of the 16 players, a maximum of six are allowed to have two or more accrued years of NFL experience. Each player on the practice squad can be elevated to the game day roster a maximum of three times throughout the season. After that, they either have to be released or signed to the 53-man.

Players with four or more years of NFL experience can be signed to the practice squad immediately. For players with three or fewer years of experience, they first have to clear waivers–and if they do–they become free agents and can sign where they please.

While there may be a few new additions to the practice squad, most of the players that the Colts sign will have been on the 90-man roster over the summer.

Here are the reported additions that have been made:
