The Indiana Pacers (6-7) take on the Toronto Raptors (2-12) Monday evening at Scotiabank Arena. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NBA odds around the Pacers vs. Raptors odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: First meeting; tied 2-2 last season

The Pacers posted a 119-110 victory over the Miami Heat Sunday as 3.5-point favorites. C Myles Turner erupted for 34 points and 9 boards on 5-for-8 shooting from distance. G Bennedict Mathurin has been the real bright spot as he’s having a career year with 18.9 PPG, 6.8 RPG and 43.8% shooting from deep.

Toronto has lost 7 in a row and is really struggling without its best player. They took the defending champs to the brink, though, Saturday in a 126-123 loss to the Boston Celtics. They were 16.5-point dogs. G RJ Barrett had 25 points, 15 assists and 10 boards in one of the best games of his career.

Pacers at Raptors picks and predictions

Prediction

Pacers 121, Raptors 116

Moneyline

The Pacers are rightfully the favorites here, but they’re just a little too expensive on the ML and are a better value on the spread.

Let’s give Turner his flowers. The Pacers center is shooting 42.4% from 3-point land and hitting 2.3 3’s per game, and both of those are career highs. He entered the league as an undersized big and has continuously improved on his outside shooting. Take MYLES TURNER OVER 1.5 3-POINTERS (-165).

Against the spread

The Raptors are one of the best ATS teams in the league at 9-5. Not bad for a team that is 2-12. The market has corrected, though, and I really don’t like them in this spot. Take the PACERS -3 (-105).

Over/Under

The Raptors cashed an Over against Boston, but that snapped a 5-game Under streak. Meanwhile, Indiana is still doing what Indiana does at 8-2 O/U in the last 10. This matchup led to 4 Over cashes last season.

So let’s take the OVER 234.5 (-105).
