The Indiana Pacers (13-15) continue their West Coast road trip at the Sacramento Kings (13-16) Sunday. Tip-off from Golden 1 Center is set for 6 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NBA odds around the Pacers vs. Kings odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: First meeting; split 1-1 last season

Indiana beat the Phoenix Suns 120-111 as a 6-point road underdog Thursday while the Under (235.5) cashed.

Indiana’s big advantage was in the turnover battle, which the Pacers won 16-9. The Pacers have won 3 straight games and scored at least 120 points in 4 of their last 5 wins.

The Kings are coming off 2 straight losses at home to the Los Angeles Lakers. After dropping the Thursday opener 113-100 as 4.5-point favorites, they wrapped up the 2-game set with a 103-99 setback Saturday while laying 4 points — the Under hit in both games.

G De’Aaron Fox dropped 31 points, but it was not enough to overcome his team’s 27% shooting from deep. The Kings have dropped 3 consecutive games and been held to 100 points or fewer in 2 straight.

Pacers at Kings picks and predictions

Prediction

Pacers 122, Kings 120

Moneyline

PASS.

I like the Pacers to win here as slight +110 underdogs, but there is a lot of risk with this bet.

For example, Sacramento played Saturday, which means the Kings could be tired, but it could also lead to them having more motivation, as they won’t want to lose both games on the back-to-back.

I also am taking the points with Indiana, and I am not a fan of doubling down on a team’s ML and its spread. If you are okay with the risk, then placing a small wager on both bets for Indiana is okay, but I recommend passing to play the spread and/or total instead.

Against the spread

BET PACERS +2.5 (-115).

The Pacers have covered the spread in 3 consecutive games and are 4-1 ATS in their last 5, while Sacramento has dropped 4 straight ATS. The Pacers have also covered the last 2 meetings between these teams.

Over/Under

LEAN OVER 236.5 (-110).

The Over has been safer for both teams this season at 16-11-1 for Indiana and 15-14 for Sacramento. The Over has also hit in the last 2 meetings.

For Indiana to win this game, its offense will have to produce at a high rate, making the Over slightly safer for this game.

This is a lean because there is no real advantage for either team’s Over or Under recently, so this bet is nearly a 50-50 toss-up.
