The Indiana Pacers (6-9) travel to Little Caesars Arena Wednesday to take on the Detroit Pistons (3-10). Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Pacers vs. Pistons odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.
The Pacers will enter this game as strong favorites despite being on the road.
Finally healthy with guards Caris LeVert and Malcolm Brogdon back on the court, the Pacers have won three of their last fives, twice against playoff-caliber teams. With two-time blocks leader big Myles Turner in the paint, they’ll present a tough matchup for the home side.
Detroit is led by its leading scorer F Jerami Grant. No. 1 overall pick Cade Cunningham has also seen his usage tick up and is expected to have an ever-expanding role offensively.
The Pistons have won two of their last four outings.

Prediction
Pacers 106, Pistons 99
Money line
PASS on the money line.
The Pistons are at home and have played well enough lately to not play the Pacers safely at -260. I don’t hate a sprinkle on the Pistons, but I’d still pass given their offensive inconsistencies.
Against the spread
“LEAN” to the PACERS -6.5 (-107) as they’re a quality playoff-caliber team when at full strength.
When it comes to offensive rebounding rate, defensive rebounding rate and turnover rate, both teams are similar with the Pacers being marginally better in each category.
It’s the shooting that’s the concern for me. Indiana ranks 10th in true shooting percentage, a stat that factors in three-point shooting, while Detroit is last in the league.
The Pistons have lost two of their last three games by at least 20 points. Indiana should be able to win by seven or more points Wednesday.
Over/Under
BET on the UNDER 207.5 (-108) as Detroit is just that bad offensively.
Outside of Grant, who shoots only 41%, the Pistons’ next two top scorers shoot under 40% from the field and under 30% from deep. That’s just not the type of efficiency that allows for teams to consistently go over 100 points.
With the Pacers having Turner and F Domantas Sabonis on the inside, the Pistons should limit their rebounding. With veteran Olynyk out for Detroit, this has all the makings of a low-scoring game.
Both teams also rank in the bottom half of the league in pace.
