Season series: First meeting; Pacers won 2-1 last season
Indiana has gone 0-8-1 against the spread (ATS) over its last 9 games. It’s coming off a 122-111 loss as a 3.5-point favorite at the Toronto Raptors Tuesday with the Under (237) hitting. G Tyrese Haliburton is shooting 41.6 percent from the field and 34 percent from 3, both career-lows.
Brooklyn lost 128-102 as a 7.5-point underdog at the Chicago Bulls Monday as the Under (232) cashed. The Nets have lost 3 consecutive games straight up/ATS.
The Pacers went 2-1 ATS vs. the Nets last season, with the Over/Under (O/U) going 1-2. In the final meeting April 3, Brooklyn won 115-111 as a 7-point home underdog while the Under (233) hit. Nets G Cam Thomas scored a game-high 27 points, but will be out Wednesday with a hamstring injury.

Pacers at Nets picks and predictions
Prediction
Pacers 111, Nets 109
Moneyline
It pains me to lay this price with the PACERS (-140), but the Nets have lost 3 straight games by 8-plus points (after winning 3 straight Nov. 24-27). Seven of their key players are on the injury report, including 3 of their top 4 scorers.
Indiana has been even worse lately — losing its last 3 games by 11 or more points — but at least it is relatively healthy and its top 6 scoring options are expected to play. Give me the better and healthier team.
BET PACERS (-140).
Against the spread
Indiana doesn’t cover spreads; Brooklyn has too many injuries.
PASS. Bet the ML and/or total instead.
Over/Under
Brooklyn is 0-2 O/U in its last 2 games and has scored 102 or fewer points in 3 straight. I don’t expect such an injured team to score 112 or more, especially after putting up just 102 against the Bulls, who are 28th in defensive efficiency this season.
BET UNDER 225.5 (-110).
