Foucher says prospects should approach this opportunity hesitantly. “By playing overseas, it removes you from the NBA, because NBA teams aren’t overseas,” he said. “College coaches are preparing guys to be NBA players. Their preparation helps colleges win basketball games. The coaches overseas have no ambition to help players become NBA players, because they are trying to advance their own situations.”
