After showing off his skills against JOK Sunday morning, Garrett showed up to the Cavs Summer League in uniform and warmed up with the team:

Perhaps Myles Garrett posting his one-on-one game against Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah earlier Sunday was to prepare folks for what was to come Sunday night.

Garrett and basketball have been linked for a few years as the Cleveland Browns defensive end has shown off his skills including during pickup games. Head coach Kevin Stefanski said his edge rusher was retired from pickup games but Garrett participated in the NBA’s Celebrity All-Star game in Cleveland last year as well.

After the Sunday morning Instagram post from Garrett, where some concern was had for Garrett playing in just socks against his teammate, we got this post from the Cleveland Cavaliers social media account:

Initially, it seemed as if Garrett was just heading to watch the Cavs Summer League team for their second game in Las Vegas. Then came the videos of Garrett participating in Cleveland’s warmups on the court.

A couple of three-point shots:

A big dunk:

Following warmups, Garrett changed out of his uniform and joined the Cavs players not participating in Summer League. The defensive end pulled out his big lens camera to document the game in picture form:

Given the Browns trip to the Cavaliers facilities earlier this offseason, it seems like we will see more and more overlap between the two sides. If time allows, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Cavs players at training camp later this month.
