Nebraska football landed a commitment from University of New Hampshire long snapper Kevin Gallic on Saturday. He announced the move on social media. Gallic has one season of eligibility remaining.
He spent the past three seasons with the Wildcats and played in 36 games. Last season, he appeared in 13 games and recorded three tackles. Gallic was recognized for his steady play and effort, earning the Phil Steele All-American mid-season first-team selection.
The Huskers had two long snappers on the roster last season in Camden Witucki and Aidan Fledge.
The program has made several moves out of the transfer portal in the past couple of days. Missouri edge defender Williams Nwaneri committed to the program on Thursday and has since signed. Gallic’s addition fills another position of need as the program continues to make additions. One has to wonder who else they will add as transfer portal season is in full swing.
Transfer portal has been a wild ride, thank you to all the coaches who have taken time to reach out to me about their respective schools. After an incredible visit to Nebraska I’m proud to call NEBRASKA HOME⚪️🔴! #GBR #Nebraskafootball @coachedfoley pic.twitter.com/fJcyOJtUYe
