A new name has joined the University of Nebraska coaching staff. William Prince has been named the new Director of Player Development. Prince’s job will see him work closely with the staff to “manage and oversee the development of Husker football student-athletes both on and off the field. ”
He spent the last four seasons at Southern Miss working as an executive assistant to the head coach. Previous to his time in Hattiesburg, he worked at Alcorn State from 2012 to 2016 as an equipment manager and strength and conditioning coach.
As a player, he was an all-American at Warren Central High School in Mississippi and played college football in Starkville for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. In addition, he earned a degree in fitness management. This change is one of many made to the coaching staff heading into the 2022-23 season. A season proving to be a make-or-break year for Scott Frost and his team.
