Husker Wins Big Ten Freshman of the Week Award Again

A Nebraska women’s basketball player has won a weekly Big Ten honor. On Monday afternoon, Natalie Potts was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week.

Potts has won the Freshman of the Week Award for the second time this season. Through six games this season, Potts is averaging 12.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game. The two-time Missouri MaxPreps High School Player of the Year is currently leading the conference in field goal percentage at .738.

Potts and the Huskers return to action on Wednesday when they host Florida Atlantic University. Tip-off is set at 7:00 p.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
