Center fielder Hunter Ensley went 3-for-5 in the series finale on Sunday. He hit two home runs, while recording three RBIs and two runs.

Sunday’s win completed a three-game series sweep for Tennessee against the Commodores. The Vols have won seven consecutive games versus Vanderbilt.

Tennessee defeated Vanderbilt, 4-3 in 12 innings, in the series opener on Friday.

The Vols won a run-rule decision, 17-1 in seven innings, Saturday in game No. 2.

Tennessee’s series sweep versus Vanderbilt is the Vols’ 12th in SEC play under head coach Tony Vitello (2018-present). Prior to 2018, the Vols swept 12 SEC series in the previous 15 seasons (2003-17).
