North Carolina head coach Hubert Davis was back on the recruiting trail this week as he was in Orlando, Florida for the annual NBPA Top-100 camp featuring some of the top prospects in the country.
While Drake Powell and James Brown participating, Davis and UNC not only watched their two commitments but they also kept their eyes on a few targets in the 2025 class. That included some five-star targets that UNC has offered so far.
Per Joe Tipton of On3, Davis watched the following recruits during Thursday’s session: Darryn Peterson, Cameron Boozer, and Bryson Tiller.
All three players hold an offer from North Carolina as the Tar Heels start to really set up their recruiting board for the 2025 cycle. The event began on Tuesday and will run through Friday, showcasing the top talent in the 2024, 2025 and 2026 classes.
For North Carolina, it’s important to land a big class in 2025 coming off having a great one in 2024 so far with three commitments. The future of the program is within these classes and the staff can really make a big statement if they can land some big-time recruits.
