This weekend is a busy one on the AAU circuit with three events in three states. North Carolina has been busy scouting talent at the events, and it has a new target on the recruiting board.
Class of 2025 five-star shooting guard Darryn Peterson became the second player in the class to pick up an offer from North Carolina. The Tar Heels offered Peterson on Sunday morning after watching him in Omaha as part of the adidas event.
Peterson did enough to impress Hubert Davis and landed the offer hours later as the Tar Heels began their pursuit.
