HS gridder apologizes for trash-talking Cam Newton

A high school football player from Pennsylvanias apologized to Cam Newton after a video of him trash-talking the NFL quarterback went viral.

Jseth Owens of Perkiomen Valley High School in Pennsylvania asked for forgiveness via social media after his rant erupted Sunday during a 7-on-7 camp Newton sponsored by Newton’s foundation. Owens taunted Newton Newton saying the former MVP was a free-agent-to-be who was “about to be poor.”
