It wasn’t quite as long as the touchdown pass by Coastal Carolina against Arkansas State on Thursday. However, Howard did accomplish the longest pass TD in school history Friday against Morgan State.
Coastal Carolina’s scoring play went 99 yards. Howard’s touchdown pass was 6 feet shorter, still an impressive 97 yards.
Leading 3-0 in the third quarter, the Bison’s Quinton Williams found Antoine Murray in the Bears’ secondary.
Once Williams had the ball, it was a race to the end zone. As the announcer said, “nobody’s gonna catch him.”
