Max Johnson
LSU has a lot of promise in its pair of true freshman quarterbacks, and while Johnson hasn’t started a game yet in what’s been a topsy-turvy season, he’s certainly a player to keep an eye on.
Johnson saw significant time in the loss to Auburn after Finley was benched, completing 15-of-24 passes for 172 yards and a touchdown — the only touchdown drive of the day for LSU.
It will be interesting to see how the competition between he and Finley shakes out as time goes on.
