Twitter erupted as fireworks line the sky because Oklahoma got its quarterback of the future yet again.
Lincoln Riley reeled in the No. 1 quarterback and Elite 11 Finals MVP of the 2019 recruiting class in Spencer Rattler. The same thing can now be said for the 2021 recruiting class.
No. 1 overall 2021 quarterback Caleb Williams announced his commitment to the Sooners on Saturday night. Oklahoma became the first school in the Rivals’ rankings era to land two No. 1 overall quarterbacks in a three-year span.
Riley has landed two top quarterbacks, has had two Heisman Trophy winners and two No. 1 overall picks in the last four years.
