Chivas Guadalajara is one of four teams still unbeaten in the 2020 Liga MX Clausura. They have to travel to defending champions Tigres UANL on Saturday hoping to keep that record intact.
The Goats could move level at the top of the Clausura standings with a win at the Estadio Universitario, where Tigres has clinched its only points of the campaign thus far.

Goals have been severely lacking for the 2019 Clausura winners during the first four matches of its title defense. Tigres, currently 13th in the table, has failed to score in three of those games and beat Atlas 2-1 in its last home outing to seal its first win of the season. Puebla (one goal) is the only team to have scored fewer in the Clausura so far this term.
Guadalajara sits sixth and is looking to leap back on level terms at the summit, though the team failed to win in five across all competitions. Luis Fernando Tena’s men are yet to win away this season and last tasted victory when they beat Juarez 2-0 on Opening Day (Jan. 12).
A little more than a decade has passed since Guadalajara beat Tigres on its own turf (Jan. 2010). Saturday’s guests have drawn in six of their 12 trips to Nuevo Leon since then, though they have suffered defeat there in each of the past three visits.
Chivas is hoping to improve substantially after it ended the Apertura in 10th place, while Tigres fell out in the quarterfinals to eventual runners-up America, having finished third in the regular-season table.
Ricardo Ferretti’s men are relying on their home form to avoid defeat on their patch in Week 5, but Guadalajara could make a major statement by breaking the cycle at the Estadio Universitario.
