The former Oklahoma tandem in the XFL could be streaking after Sunday.
Bob Stoops, Landry Jones and the Dallas Renegades have won two-straight games heading into Sunday’s rivalry matchup with the Houston Roughnecks.
Jones missed the first game after suffering a knee injury during the game. The Renegades have won both games since his return behind center, clawing back from first-half deficits in the two games.
Through two games, Oklahoma’s best statistical quarterback in the history of the program has thrown for 579 yards at a 58 completion percentage rate and four touchdowns. Jones has thrown four interceptions as well.
Former Oklahoma wide receiver Jeff Badet has gotten off to a slow start, catching 11 passes through three games for 72 yards and no touchdowns. Defensive end Frank Alexander has recorded a sack and 11 tackles.
