In a rematch of two of their more memorable wins of the 2019-20 season, the Houston Rockets will finish up their scrimmage schedule at the NBA “bubble” in Florida with a Tuesday night contest versus Boston.
In matchups of potential title contenders, the Rockets (40-24) defeated the Celtics (43-21) on Feb. 11 in Houston and Feb. 29 in Boston.
Tuesday’s prime-time scrimmage from Disney World won’t have quite the same stakes, but stars such as Boston’s Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum, and Jaylen Brown are all currently expected to play, as is Houston’s All-Star backcourt of Russell Westbrook and James Harden.
Harden, who leads the NBA in scoring this season, has appropriately led Houston in scoring and assists during each of the first two scrimmages, including Friday’s loss to Toronto and Sunday’s win over Memphis.

Tuesday’s scrimmage versus Boston tips off at 7:00 p.m. Central. Unlike Houston’s first two scrimmages, it will not be carried live on NBA TV.
Live streaming options are available for free at Rockets.com, as well as the official Houston Rockets Facebook page. The scrimmage can also be viewed live via NBA League Pass, and it can be listened to via SportsTalk 790, which serves as the team’s flagship radio station in Houston.
With scrimmage play nearing its conclusion, the 2019-20 regular season will resume later this week for each of the 22 NBA teams invited to the restart. For the Rockets, it all begins with Friday night’s opener against Southwest Division rival Dallas (40-27). Tip-off of that game is set for 8:00 p.m. Central, with the Texas showdown broadcast locally on AT&T SportsNet Southwest and nationally via ESPN.
