How to watch Nets battle Blazers

Thursday’s game means nothing to the Brooklyn Nets’ standing in the postseason, but it means everything to the Portland Trail Blazers.

When the NBA first established its schedule for the Disney bubble, the Brooklyn Nets were only slated to play one nationally televised game — their fourth game of the bubble, which they lost to the Boston Celtics.

Yet, the Nets’ last seeding game of the Disney bubble is now scheduled to run on TNT Thursday night. That’s not the result of the Nets’ standing or play, they’re already locked in as the No. 7 seed in the East. It’s because of the Portland Trail Blazers, who are currently the No. 8 team in the West with the Memphis Grizzlies, Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs right behind them in the standings.

TNT’s pregame coverage is set to begin at 8, but that could change since the station is also carrying Suns-Dallas Mavericks and Spurs-Utah Jazz before Nets-Blazers.

YES Network‘s pre-game coverage also starts an hour ahead of the 9 p.m. tip-off.

WFAN‘s pre-game coverage starts at 8:30 p.m.
