Michigan State basketball is back in Maui.
The Spartans return to the Maui Invitational on Monday, with a first round matchup against Colorado. Michigan State last played in the Maui Invitational in 2019, and will be the sixth time the Spartans have played in this iconic event.
Michigan State comes into this matchup with a 4-1 overall record, and wins in its last two games. Colorado is a perfect 4-0 on the year, but has yet to face a non-mid major opponent thus far.
The winner of this matchup between the Spartans and Buffalos will play the winner of UConn and Memphis on Tuesday.

Michigan State vs. Colorado predictions, picks, odds
Michigan State 76, Colorado 72: This is a hard one to predict, with Colorado yet to face a true challenging opponent on the year. On paper, though, Michigan State is the better team and I anticipate their early season tests will better prepare them than the Buffs for this Maui Invitational opener.
ODDS: Michigan State -5.5
