Liverpool will take on Chelsea on Sunday in one of the marquee matchups of the Premier League weekend.
Title-holders Liverpool, led by coach Jurgen Klopp, will look to make a statement against Frank Lampard’s Chelsea side, who have made some serious big-name additions this offseason in Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, and Kai Havertz.
Klopp has made a big addition of his own, adding Thiago Alcantara from Bayern Munich, strengthening a side that ran away with the Premier League last season.
This game would normally feature on the NBC network, or perhaps NBCSN, but due to the U.S. Open and the Tour de France (and NBC really trying to drive subscribers to its new streaming service), this game will only be featured on Peacock in the United States.
Also, some sad news for American fans: Christian Pulisic is still recovering from a hamstring injury and will not feature in the team for Chelsea today.
