The Arizona Cardinals’ next preseason opponent are the Kansas City Chiefs. They defeated the Dallas Cowboys last Friday 19-16 on a last-second 47-yard field goal. Kyler Murray, Chandler Jones, DeAndre Hopkins and Budda Baker all sat out the opener.
While the Chiefs are expected to play their starters for the first half, the Cardinals have not revealed how long they intend on having their starters out. Hopkins and Jones are not expected to play again, as they are nursing minor undisclosed injuries.
This game is the last preseason game the Cardinals will have at home. They will not return to State Farm Stadium for a game until Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings on September 19.
