How to watch Kentucky versus Texas A&M in the SEC Tournament on Friday

The Kentucky Wildcats will play their first game of the men’s basketball SEC Tournament on Friday against the Texas A&M Aggies. After earning a two seed in the regular season, the Cats received one of the four double byes, and got to skip the first two rounds.

The Wildcats met the Aggies once during the regular season. Texas A&M won that one in overtime 97 – 92 behind Wade Taylor IV, who scored 31 points. The Aggies also had 25 offensive rebounds, and won the overall rebounding battle.

Rebounding will be one of the keys to Friday’s rematch. Texas A&M is sixth in the country in rebounding margin. They also play good defense, holding teams to just under 70 points per game. They will make Kentucky work for every basket.

Kentucky’s offense has proven to be up for the challenge. The Wildcats remain one of the most dangerous offenses in the country, and one of the top three point shooting teams.

This game likely comes down to whether or not Kentucky boxes out to prevent second chance points. The Cats are playing as well as anyone, but they’ll have to play tough to avoid being one-and-done in the SEC Tournament.
