The Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington Commanders will kick off their respective seasons this afternoon with a Week 1 game at FedEx Field in Landover, Md.
The Jaguars are seeking to rebound from back-to-back seasons that ended with the worst record in the NFL. Those rough years came with a bright side as the team added quarterback Trevor Lawrence and outside linebacker Travon Walker with consecutive No. 1 overall draft picks.
The Commanders retooled their offense in the offseason by trading to acquire former Philadelphia Eagles and Indianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz.
