How to watch Duke softball’s first Women’s College World Series game on Thursday

The Blue Devils softball team will play in Oklahoma City for the first time in school history on Thursday. Find out how to watch Duke here.

Duke softball will make program history on Thursday when the Blue Devils take the field in Oklahoma City, playing in the Women’s College World Series for the first time.

However, they’ll be thrown right into the fire against the Oklahoma Sooners, who have won the last three national titles.

The Sooners, 54-6 for the season and fresh off a sweep of Florida State in the Super Regionals, seem primed to finish off the four-peat. However, they only beat the Blue Devils by three runs in the first game of the season and Duke could send a statement to the country behind the pitching duo of ACC Pitcher of the Year Jala Wright and Super Regional star Cassidy Curd.

Duke fans will get to watch the best team in school history take on the Sooners on Thursday afternoon. Here’s the broadcast information.

Date: Thursday, May 30

Time: 2:30 p.m. Eastern time

Network: ESPN

The Women’s College World Series is a double-elimination bracket, so the Blue Devils will remain alive for the national title even if they lose to OU.
