The Kansas City Chiefs (4-1) hope to extend their winning streak over the Denver Broncos (1-4) to 16 games on Thursday Night Football.
The Broncos haven’t beaten the Chiefs since September 2015. However, this is the first time the Chiefs have faced Denver with the latter’s new coach: Sean Payton. Because of the new regime, the Chiefs aren’t treating this as a typical game against the Broncos, and they certainly aren’t thinking about a winning streak.
The Broncos, however, are very ready to break the streak and put it behind them. But can they after such a rough start to the season? Denver has just one win against a bad Chicago Bears team this season. Plus, the Broncos allowed the Miami Dolphins to drop 70 points on them just a few weeks ago. Still, AFC West matchups are almost always close, so don’t expect this one to be one-sided.
