Texas A&M is in a rut at the moment coming off a series sweep at the hands of Arkansas they are also on a five-game losing streak. Tarleton is also coming off a series loss and dropped their last two games. Both teams need this win to gain some momentum as they enter the last few league series matchups in their respective conferences.
These teams have not met often, but in the games they have played, Texas A&M has won all four with the 2021 meet-up being the closest in an 8-7 extra-innings win for the Aggies.
